By 2028, HDN aims to significantly increase socio-economic inclusion for more than 10,000 persons with disabilities across Hirshabelle, through targeted programs, advocacy wins, and stronger local institutions.
Restoring Mobility, Restoring Dignity
Mobility opens doors to education, work, and community participation — yet many persons with disabilities in Somalia lack access to essential devices. HDN addresses this gap by providing prosthetics, wheelchairs, crutches, and hearing aids tailored to the needs of individuals. These tools are more than equipment; they are life-changing enablers of independence.
Our programs also ensure sustainability through training local technicians to repair and maintain assistive devices. We partner with schools and communities to conduct accessibility audits, upgrading buildings and public spaces to be more inclusive. With mobility restored, individuals can reclaim their independence, confidence, and rightful place in society.
Capturing moments with creativity and precision to tell your story.
