By 2028, HDN aims to significantly increase socio-economic inclusion for more than 10,000 persons with disabilities across Hirshabelle, through targeted programs, advocacy wins, and stronger local institutions.
Unlocking Potential, Creating Opportunities
At HDN, we believe economic independence is a foundation for dignity. Persons with disabilities in Somalia often face barriers to education and employment, leaving them vulnerable to poverty and exclusion. Our livelihoods programs are designed to break this cycle by equipping individuals with practical skills, market-driven training, and pathways to sustainable work.
We provide vocational courses in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, and digital skills, alongside financial literacy training and small business support. With micro-grants, apprenticeships, and market linkages, we help persons with disabilities start businesses, earn income, and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
Capturing moments with creativity and precision to tell your story.
